Call for Submissions (Closed )

Public Poetry has closed submissions for its 2025 anthology, Unbroken.

We invited writers to explore the human spirit's enduring strength through works illuminating how we face challenges, transform suffering, and find meaning in our struggles. We were looking for poems that captured moments of personal or collective resilience, unexpected joy amid hardship, and the quiet victories that define our shared humanity.

Eligibility

• Open to poets of all backgrounds, experience levels, and geographic locations

• Previously published work accepted if rights have reverted to the author

• Simultaneous submissions accepted (please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere)

Submission Requirements

• Number of Poems: Submit 1-3 poems per person. If you have 3 poems, please submit the form for each entry

• Length: Maximum 60 lines per poem
